How Much Does Real Estate Photography Cost in the Inland Empire?

Real estate photography pricing in the Inland Empire varies widely, and that range confuses a lot of agents and property managers when they're comparing quotes. Here's a clear breakdown of what drives the cost and what to expect.

Per-shoot pricing

A standard real estate photography shoot in the Inland Empire typically runs between $250 and $450, depending on square footage, number of images, and turnaround time. At Executive Image Productions, a standard listing shoot starts at $350. That covers interior and exterior photography, professional editing, and delivery within a set turnaround window.

Add-ons that shift the price:

  • Aerial drone photography: adds coverage of the property, lot lines, and neighborhood context that ground-level shots can't show.

  • Twilight conversions: a single dusk-toned exterior image that photographs differently than the rest of the daytime set.

  • Cinematic video walkthroughs: full video coverage separate from stills, typically priced as its own line item.

  • Virtual tours: interactive walkthroughs for listings that need remote viewing options.

Why per-shoot pricing isn't always the best fit

Agents who list consistently, and property managers turning over units regularly, often pay more over time on a per-shoot basis than they would on a monthly retainer. A retainer also solves a different problem: consistency. When the same photographer shoots every listing, the brand presentation across a portfolio stays uniform, and there's no gap while an agent searches for availability on short notice.

What a retainer includes

Executive Image Productions offers three retainer tiers:

  • Essential ($725/month): 2 shoots per month, each covering up to 2,500 sq ft

  • Signature ($1,395/month): 4 shoots per month, each covering up to 3,000 sq ft, plus 1 aerial drone shoot included monthly.

  • Luxury ($2,650/month): 6 shoots per month, each covering up to 4,000 sq ft, with aerial and virtual tour included on every shoot, plus 1 cinematic video walkthrough monthly.

Properties over the tier's square footage cap are covered by a flat, disclosed overage fee rather than a renegotiated price. Shoots beyond the monthly count are billed at $300 each, below the standard $350 rate.

One thing worth being upfront about:

The retainer is not a discount. Two shoots at the standard rate is $700. Essential is $725. The difference buys guaranteed availability, priority scheduling over per-shoot bookings, and one photographer producing a consistent look across every listing. Agents who list twice a month or more are paying for the certainty that media never delays a listing going live. Agents with one listing a month are better served booking per shoot, and I'll tell them that directly.

What drives the price up or down across providers

  • Square footage: larger homes take longer to shoot and edit.

  • Number of final images delivered: more images means more editing time.

  • Turnaround time: rush delivery (same day or next day) usually costs more than standard 24 to 48 hour turnaround.

  • Add-ons: aerial, twilight, video, and virtual tours are typically priced separately from the base shoot.

  • Experience and equipment: photographers using professional lighting, full-frame cameras.

Bottom line

For a single listing, expect to pay $250 to $450 depending on the property and what's included. For agents who list regularly or property managers handling ongoing turnover, a monthly retainer usually costs less per shoot over time and solves the bigger problem: having the same reliable photographer available every time a property needs to go live.
